Well he did it again! Dr.Sheldon Cooper, aka Jim Parsons won his second Emmy last night for being the chicest geek around! Take a look at his gracious acceptance speech.

Time to Get Your Fall Wardrobe Organized

Don't get me wrong I love living in Florida, but we don't have much of a fluctuation in temperature. That doesn't stop me from organizing my wardrobe by season. I have slowly started to put away bright colored sundresses, tank tops, and other summer-centric pieces.

At the end of last winter I put most of my sweaters, scarves, throws, and other seasonal linens into my sweater bags. I thanked myself as I unpacked my sweaters yesterday, as they all were crisply folded & smelling fresh. Need a sweater bag or 2 (we sell them in packs of 2), click here!

Travel Light- Pack Your Outfits

We all know how hectic traveling is these days.For this reason, I try to carry on my luggage whenever possible. This has caused me to learn how to "pack light" which is torture.

Pack Your Outfits
I used to just throw in a few pairs of jeans, leggings, an assortment of tops and several pairs of shoes.I would of course only end up wearing a few items during my trip.

Now, I strictly pack by outfit.I make sure to strategically bring my favorite pair of jeans/leggings/bottoms each with their own matching top. After I have made my selections, I fold them TOGETHER with my Flipfold, so there is no confusion as to what goes with what. Check out this "how to" video to see what I mean!

Back to School Already?

Where did the summer go? Wasn't 4th of July just the other day?

How to Fold a Towel, No Matter What Size It Is

Have you noticed that depending on where you purchase your bath towels from, they are all different sizes? This can be quite a hassle when you are attempting to neatly fold your towels(especially when preparing for house guests).

We have a solution! Fold your bath towels with FlipFold and they all will be folded to the same, uniform size so you can neatly stack them in your linen closet.By the way, you can also use FlipFold Jr. for hand towels and other smaller linens like pillowcase.

Here is our How to Video for folding bath towels with FlipFold. This same technique will also work with a flat sheet.

Packing Tips..from Martha Stewart

I have been subscribing to the MarthaStewart.com Organizing Tip of the Day. In this article on packing smart, Martha really covers all her bases. Would we expect anything less? Of course not!



Here are a few tips that I picked up:
1. Store shoes in individual pouches to prevent soiling other clothing, and line around the perimeter of your suitcase or bag.

2. In addition to storing your shoes in pouches, also place undergarments, accessories like belts and scarves in their own pouch. This will keep your suitcase organized.

3. This one is my favorite: Pack each outfit on 1 hanger and store in a clear dry cleaning bag. This will not only minimize wrinkles, but will help prevent over packing.

School Colors & FlipFold: College Dorm Must- Haves

Today is officially the first day of Summer! But that means that (some) recent high school grads are heading off to Summer Term before their first Fall as college freshmen.



They will (slowly) become accustom to dorm life, which means communal bathrooms, teeny-tiny closets and drawers, not to mention tackling their dirty clothes in the laundry room . This has to be the least fun part of dorm life (besides the bathrooms).

I remember my girls complaining about lugging their laundry down to the basement, at odd hours to avoid waiting for a machine to open up, and then having to lug it all back upstairs. Oh, and how they complained about their non-existent closet & drawer space. Good think I had sent them with their FlipFolds, of course how could I not? I sent them with their school colors (Orange & Blue-can you guess where they went?)

Vacation or Staycation?

How is it summer time already? I can't believe it. But, I must admit, when the seasons change, I am always ready to pull out my season appropriate wardrobe, and hopefully plan a few weekend getaways.

Although, sometimes staying at home can be just as relaxing and therapeutic.This past weekend, I stored the remainder of my sweaters, jackets, heavy linens, and any other non-summer essentials. I of course, FlipFolded these items and organized them so when I am ready for Fall they will be too.

I have found, over the years after packing and unpacking, that keeping a neat suitcase or duffel bag makes all the difference. I cannot stand when only a few days into my trip, my once neat and organized suitcase is in total disarray. I have found that if I bring a few travel organization essentials, I am much happier when I return home to tackle the task of unpacking. Here are my go-to travel essentials:



- FlipFold Jr or Adult (depending on if I carry-on or check a bag, I will take one of the two in order to keep my folded items crisp & as wrinkle-free as possible).
- Travel Laundry Bag - (For soiled clothes, shoes). I like to keep these items separate from the rest of my goodies.
-Lingerie Bag - I like to place worn lingerie right in this mesh bag, so when I return home, I can just throw it in the wash.
-Jewelry roll from my Flip'N Dazzle- I usually bring a few versatile pieces for a quick trip, and just keep the jewelry roll in my purse or carry-on.
- Clear DryCleaner bags- I like to wrap my hanging items in these to keep them wrinkle-free.
-Dryel-At Home Dry Cleaning Starter Kit- I usually just bring the stain remover pen. But I like being able to take care of any dry-cleaning as soon as I get home.

How to Fold Your Laundry Faster

Hello FlipFolders!

Here are a few tips to help you fold your laundry more efficiently with FlipFold!

1. Lay your t-shirt face down on the FlipFold, (and if your shirt is longer than the board) fold the bottom of the shirt to the edge of the board.Don't forget this step!


2. Flip fast! When you are flipping the side panels, there's no need to flip gingerly. Flip the side panels quickly, and your shirt will be crisply folded.


3. When folding long-sleeved s-shirts or sweaters, fold the sleeves into the perimeter of the board, and flip the side panels as usual.




4. Did you know you can fold towels with FlipFold? No matter what size your towel is, fold your bath towel in half, and lay on the FlipFold. If your towel is larger than the FlipFold, just make sure there is an equal amount of "overhang" of the towel on the top and bottom of the FlipFold. You will love how neat all of your towels will look in your linen closet.
