The first semester away at college is beyond overwhelming, starting with the laundry room.
Here are a few essentials that I know helped my girls when they were freshmen years ago.

Rolls of Quarters
Quarters are like gold for some reason, especially when you are in college. Whether its paying the parking meter, or catching up on 5 loads of laundry, there never seems to be enough.
These are pretty cool. Instead of carrying heavy bottles of detergent back & forth from the laundry room, grab a pack of Tide pods. You just need 1 pod per load of laundry- so convenient!
